GADJO DILO
GADJO DILO - In every mans soul, is a gadjo gypsy!
The band “Gadjo Dilo” was founded in the summer of 2008.
Johannes “Beirut” Leonard Rusten was asked to play a concert in Trollhättan, Sweden, containing Hungarian and Romanian gypsy folk music. He met with guitar player Paul Hoff Baltzersen and double bass player Håkan Henriksen, and after a couple of days, they travelled to Sweden, where they performed their first concert.
THE BEGINNING OF THE BAND
This concert was a great success, and they got another request to play, only two days later in the same town - and this was the beginning of “Gadjo Dilo”.
