Quick facts about Aurora
- Aurora is pursued as a nonprofit association
- The leadership is well endowed regarding organizational, pedagogical and artistic competence
- After six years of building Aurora is now one of the world´s most extensive programs of international master classes and festivals within classical music
- Aurora invites about 400 musicians from over 40 countries for the following annually: 3 Chamber Music & Orchestra Festivals and Workshops / Master classes (April, August, October)
- Several of the world’s leading musicians and professors leads the different Aurora productions alongside with thousands of new “risings stars” from all over the world
- About 6000 people visit one of Aurora’s about 50 concerts each year. (this is increasing every year)
- Aurora’s most important partners since the start in 2006 are: The Royal College of Music in Stockholm, The city of Vänersborg, The city of Trollhättan, The Swedish Arts Council, Region Västra Götaland
