All the energy I do expect from my first Aurora festival

Since I started working with Per and Ola last January I felt the Energy. No actually, I felt it already when they interviewed me right before Christmas. Ola and Per are not ordinary people, they love what they do, and it is virtually impossible to resist their enthusiasm. I was asked to help with Aurora communication, and we decided to start working right away with a new website. I received tons of emails by both of them every day asking to implement stuff, discussing how we could make it work …

Elena Popkova – I will always keep in my heart….

I think most of musicians ask themselves what is their purpose for being musicians. Why do we spend many hours of our lives practicing? Why do we try to remember hundreds of notes?
Even if we don’t want to show our doubting personality, questions like these are always somewhere deep inside our mind.
Trying to find the answers can be a very long and even a painful process.
It is so important to understand, that music doesn’t have to prove something to somebody. We play the most beautiful pieces in the world …

Robert Cohen- …will be just as brilliant…

I’m excited to get back to Aurora Festival for my second visit! My first visit was in 2010 and the energy from so many talented young musicians, buzzing around from masterclasses to rehearsals and concerts, was something you could breath in.
The appetite for learning was almost overwhelming, including in my cello class, where I ended up teaching violinists, violists and singers too. We had such a fantastic time from the beginning to the end of each day, professors and students mixing and enjoying the immersion, discussing music, even between …

Unforgettable minutes

There are many places where we can play chamber music, have lessons with famous professors, meet friends and have parties. But believe me there is only one place where pure music exists every single moment and the most fantastic professors become our friends. The place of real Friends and Art… Unforgettable minutes on a stage and inimitable parties with Tequila Rose…;) Last summer Aurora Festival became one the best summer in my life.
I will keep in my heart all those beautiful feelings that were shared by my great colleagues from …

Chamber Music at Aurora in august will be

To play Stringquartet is the best and most important thing a person can do with his life.
Living with The last String quartets by Beethoven is to devote yourself to the peak of humanity. This is where Beethoven takes us to a level never surpassed before or after.”
Norbert Brainin, 1st violinist of the Amadeus String Quartet, 1947-1987.
“This, The Gran Partita, was no composition by a performing monkey. This was a music I had never heard. Filled with such longing, such unfulfillable longing. It seemed to me that I was hearing …
