Aims

  1. To deepen your repertoire knowledge and individual skills in chamber music, solo and chamber orchestra.
  2. To practice studying efficiently new repertoire to a concert level during a short period.
  3. To enlarge your international network.

Means

Intensive teaching in ensemble and solo. Official concerts is an important part of the
course. Style and interpretation, as well as ease with both traditional and modern composing
forms, ways of playing and analysis.

Admission, selection and application to the course

The selection will be based upon musical skills and also dictated in function of the instruments
needed to create chamber music ensembles, according to the course management, but also
regional and national spreading.

  1. All applicants should have the basic qualifications needed for high school studies. You should document your advanced skills in your application at the latest on 8th Mars 2009.
  2. Recordings for the selection are not obligatory but applicants with recordings will have a priority during the professor’s selection. If you want you can send in a non-edited recording with free of choice but varied repertoire. Please write clearly your name and contact details on your recording, as well as a table of contents. We must have received your recording at the latest on 8th Mars 2009. Please send your recording to Per Nyström, Haga Östergatan 13, 413 01 Göteborg, Sweden (The recordings won’t be returned.)
